Mars Pluto Venus conjunction in Capricorn is ocurring today, March 3rd 2022.
There has been a lot of Capricorn energy in the last two years. We have been required to work with this sign, both on a collective and personal level. Collectively, we have been pressured to deal with huge transformations in the structures of our world, which has affected everything we considered stable, solid and long-lasting. On a personal level, we have been required to be responsible and understand that our lives impact one another and the planet.
As I mentioned in my recent post about Mars, 2021-2022 cycle is ending with the challenge to point a direction to go next. Remember that the next cycle starts when the Sun enters Aries, and that will be on March 20th.So, there should be commitments being made to our heart’s desires. These are commitments to be taken seriously and with discipline. We are building new bases, and they are different from the old ones, but they can be reliable for the future. We can feel like tapping into the complete unknown and it can become intense by the time of this conjunction of Mars, Pluto and Venus. There could be extreme situations that evoke fears and deep seated emotions, which feels painful and even threatening to our mental health. The intensity of this transit should be used to strengthen your will power, your willingness to overcome these fears and destructive emotions.
So, to understand this triple conjunction of Mars, Pluto and Venus in Capricorn, we should start by picking up some keywords for each astrological symbol. Mars is essentially about will and desire, but it is also about fight, strife, competition. Pluto is essentially about power, but it is also about destruction, abuse, manipulation. Now, Venus is essentially about love, but it is also about what you attract to yourself, your self value and worthiness. And then, Capricorn, which is the sign of Saturn, concerned with achievement and the discipline and pragmatism needed for it. Capricorn is also about responsibility, limits and priorities.
This triple conjunction can give us the power to achieve what we have been working for, the power to win what we have been fighting for, and receive what we truly feel we deserve based on our self value. This isn’t the first time we meet with these energies. Actually, the Capricorn part of your natal chart has been emphasized for the last two years.
Both Venus and Mercury have already conjunct Pluto in Capricorn recently, on December 25th for Venus and February 11th for Mercury. They have shown us what we can achieve and even how to achieve it. There has been an energy of serious considerations on how to use our power, or on what our power is, meaning, what is in our hands to do. What are we really attracting to ourselves through the use of our will and power? Have you ever heard the popular saying "be careful with what you will because it can become reality"?
Mars is exalted in Capricorn. It means it is strongest, to the point of possible exaggeration. It wants what it wants, but it cannot just ignore Venus. With Venus in Capricorn, there should be a prioritization of relationships, where you ask yourself who is really with you. There should also be a prioritization of resources, where you ask yourself what and how you can use what you have in order to achieve your goals. Venus in Capricorn also prioritizes justice, where you ask yourself what is fair and what is not fair. How can we establish (Capricorn) justice, balance, fairness (Venus)? And so, Pluto… Well, with Pluto, it all runs deep. Pluto wants some deep transformation before it empowers us. It wants to see how much we can take and how much we can resist. So, be strong! You’ll need to. You want to do your best here so you can strengthen something about the part of your chart where the North Node in Taurus is transiting. It is self-empowering for many. And I say “many” because self-empowerment isn’t for everybody at the same time, it is not free from risks and dangers, and it is primarily a spiritual process, which means it begins within. It begins with your own light, courage and willingness to win some kind of deep inner battle. With Pluto, we can have access to power but it doesn’t come easily.
We should remember that this triple conjunction is occurring simultaneously with strong Pisces energy, because the Sun, the Moon, Jupiter and Neptune are all in Pisces. This speaks to the ending of cycles in our lives, which can bring losses but also transcendence and completions.
