Something to believe in (Mars Jupiter conjunction in Aries)

Mars Jupiter conjunction in Aries is occurring on May 29th 2022.

Right now we see Jupiter crossing the end of the zodiac and entering once again Aries, the first sign. We also see the Sun transiting Taurus, a stabilizing energy which gives us serenity and inner strength. And we can already gain more clarity around where we are going or what we are doing next, because the Sun is conjunct the North Node, which points to our future developments.

But our choices now shouldn’t be limited by our past. Because the Sun is also conjunct Uranus, a symbol for the insightful higher mind, we know there are some changes, reformations and revolutions we must engage in, for our own good and also for the good of others. I have explained this energy recently in my post about the Taurus Lunar Cycle.

It’s also important to know that right now we are approaching the Mars Neptune conjunction in Pisces, which will occur on May 18th. I have explained this energy in my post about Mars Neptune conjunction in Pisces.

Now, the Mars Jupiter conjunction in Aries, which I am explaining in this post, is a totally different energy that we are going to experience around May 29th 2022.

Mars and Jupiter united at 3°19’ of Aries

We are moving away from the undefined and open energy of Pisces to the self will of Aries. Enough of confusion, misunderstandings and lies! Now we have, or at least we want, something to believe in. And we want to fight for it!

This is a time to begin something new, to embrace a new version of yourself, to have the courage to stand up for yourself, to stand up for what you believe in. This is will power aligned with faith in ourselves. There is something you believe you can start now, to improve your life, and yes, you can! This is just the beginning, so you don’t know yet what is to come. But we should do something, take the initiative, take a step and a chance. We should have the courage to fight for a better life now, because we don’t really have the time to wait any longer.

This aspect’s energy is much welcome in these times of huge threats to our existence. There are some raw survival issues rising from the fear of what the future may be like, around basic needs such as food and shelter, around our own personal safety. So, it is important to shield ourselves and be brave, so we are not giving away easily what is most valuable to us.

Above all, this conjunction supports you in moving ahead with passion and enthusiasm. Feel the adrenaline of the first flight and believe it: you can do it! Take your chance to conquer your place in the Sun. But don’t be too hard on yourself. Remember that you are just beginning something.

Sun in Gemini in potential harmony (sextile) with Mars and Jupiter

This is also a time to understand things from a rational and logical perspective. Gemini is the quality of the mind and the intellect. It is how our thoughts move, quickly come and go, making connections all the time, between what we see and our past experiences. This prevents us from potential danger and helps us in making better decisions.

The Sun in Gemini provides the ability to have it clear, to think it through and to communicate it sharply. This is a time to plan your steps well, prepare for what’s next and learn from other people’s experiences. Listen, read and talk to them, so you can gather more knowledge. Also talk about yourself, your experiences and hopes for the future.

Gemini cycle calls for interaction and exchange. This will help you know where you stand, what you believe in and what you want. This will also help you take intelligent action towards your goals. Many issues we have been facing lately may be related to a lack of interaction and exchange with others, which is so important to develop empathy so we stop killing each other in a survival race.

Venus in Taurus (critical first degree)

Venus in tension with (square) Pluto in Capricorn

Our resources and values may be totally restarted from scratch. Maybe we are reconsidering all the steps we have taken, where we have put our workforce into, where we have invested our energy, our money and resources. This is a time to reconsider your priorities, because you may have to deal with a reset of some sort around matters that are important to you. This reset is needed so you don’t take outdated or useless values and resources into your new adventures.

Economic crises have the power to make us reassess our values, both individually and collectively. How much we have gained and gathered will make a huge difference now. If we haven’t gained or gathered anything, this is a time to change directions. How can you improve your life, be more resourceful? Where should you concentrate your efforts to have better results? How can you access your own piece of abundance in this world? These are the questions we should try to answer now.

Moon in Taurus (exalted) united with (conjunct) Mercury (ruler of Gemini) and the North Node

We should be mindful of our own abundance, to understand that everyone has an abundant soul and a way to improve life. There are resources available for every soul to nurture one’s existence. The problem is that these resources are not yet well administered by authorities. Also the workforce is not yet sufficiently well generated and applied. But still, individually, we have more chances to attract what we need if we are aware of what we need and how we can get it.

Mercury is just about to turn direct again, so it is moving slower than it normally does. This means we can decelerate our mind a little so we can be as aware as possible of our choices, of what we value, of what is good for us (Taurus). The Moon is exalted in this sign and exactly conjunct with Mercury, giving us an extra ability to attract what we truly value, even excessively so. The problem with this energy is that it can also inflate greediness and lust. It can add aggressiveness to the survival race.

Moon and Mercury in Taurus in tension (square) with Saturn in Aquarius

Saturn has been reminding us of our collective duties and responsibilities. There is no more time and space for excesses and waste on this planet. Human greediness and lust are threatening the planet’s ecosystems and life itself. We desperately need to build a new culture around the use of natural resources and distribution of wealth.

There is more than enough wealth being generated on this planet, abundant sources of wealth, plenty of resources available. But in order for it to be fairly distributed, we must face the end of an old order. Within the convolutions of the end, there can be much chaos. But chaos is always the starting point of a new order, a new cosmos. This translates what we are witnessing about the economic institutions and the world economy.

Our past culture and science have developed many intelligent strategies to generate food, clothing, shelter and comfort. There have been a lot of ingenious ways to prosper in this world, but many of them are unfair and unsustainable. We really want to build a culture in which wealth should be treated as a collective good, since it is generated by collective progress in many areas, involving collective entities and collective work.

Moon and Mercury in harmony (trine) with Pluto in Capricorn

Moon and Mercury in potential harmony (sextile) with Neptune in Pisces

As I mentioned, chaos is a characteristic of these times of deep collective changes. And chaos is fueled by fear and rage. When it comes to the deep crisis we experience as humans, we can only help ourselves by accepting the pain and the new reality born out of it. There is a similarity between birth and death here, because both of them radically change realities.

There have been many discussions about nuclear power and its use in war. From a philosophical perspective, power always rises from the nucleus, from the most essential part of us. In every crisis, there is a test of this power, called will power, which can be extremely destructive indeed. But it is also a potentially creative energy that can positively change our lives forever. It all depends on how we choose to use it.

So, these aspects of the Moon and Mercury to Pluto and Neptune can be very intense. But still they are supposed to help us let go of the past, absorbing its lessons and also the moments of joy, so we can transform and transcend what already has no time and space to be, what no longer exists, except in our memories.
