Jupiter and Neptune united (conjunct) at 24-25° of Pisces
This is a time to contemplate outcomes and gather wisdom from them. A time to stand still for a while and have faith in the new beginning that is taking form. Jupiter and Neptune are on the way to guarantee the ending of the old cycle. This can be a subtle energy operating inside the collective unconscious, raising deep emotions and maybe fears, which are normal when we arrive at a final stage of anything.
This is a time to gather what we have learned until now, in our whole life experience, and take the best of it. Put what is essential in your bag and be on the way to your next journey. Imagine a tree when it finally drops its last leaf, it prepares the soil for the next cycle.
At this final threshold, we may get really serious about what connects us to others. We are setting some new paradigms for our lives, for what is important in our relationships with each other and the world around us. We are understanding and feeling what is our place and with whom.
We are also feeling a disconnection from certain people, things or places, relationships weakening and ending. Well, we are supposed to let them go, even if we love them. This is a time to accept that everything has a beginning and an ending. And it can be painful and complicated to let go and detach. You can even physically feel the pain of a dissolving link between you and someone or something you hold dear. There can also be a natural detox happening in your whole body, an spontaneous expelling of toxins.
This also is symbolic of a collective martyrdom, mourning and grief resulting from war and social injustice. It makes us speechless. It is always followed by a moment of silence, like a big ocean wave generating a silent lake after turmoil. And we just contemplate it for a while, before moving on.
What we are facing collectively is really the emergence of a new paradigm for the world economy which is based on what connects us to each other as humans and makes us grow as a whole, as a species, as humanity. There is an amplifying sense of what it means to be a human being, a broader understanding of our unity and what defines us as one humankind. That will reverberate in future distribution of food and resources, hopefully transcending poverty on a global level. This relates to Uranus in Taurus and its tensions with Saturn in Aquarius, but we are not focusing on that in this post.
Now let’s focus on the aspects occurring during the exact conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune.
April 12th 2022: Exact conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune
Moon in the 1st degree of Virgo
Moon trine Mercury in Taurus
Moon opposite Mars and Saturn in last degrees of Aquarius
Venus in Pisces (since April 5th)
The first degree of any sign is what we call “critical degree”. It changes everything. In this case, with the Moon entering Virgo, there is a change in perception which can give us more discrimination. There is a need to understand what is your important lesson in a certain area of your life indicated by the house position of transiting Saturn in your own natal chart. It is time to organize your thoughts and be practical. What have you learned lately about yourself, your values and your relationships? What are the unavoidable changes here?
There is a moving away from conflict, a moving away from confrontation, to have a better understanding of what is the meaning of it all for you. You are shedding more light on your recent challenges, your duties and responsibilities with the groups you participate in, the people around you, those that come after you (like your children or students, subordinates at work or even your social media followers).
You are getting clearer on the place your soul has chosen to occupy amongst the people you relate to. There is a place that is yours to occupy, in your family, with those you live with, in your work, with your friends, your groups of interest, and even in your homeland or country. Right now, you should concentrate on being aware and conscious of your own impact and energy you deliver to these people. It is all returning to you!
This is a time of completions. Now, we are talking about some completions which can be very satisfying. But they do require that original and innovative action we have been talking about. If we have been doing our work diligently to deeply change something in our lives, being courageous enough to speak the truth and stand up for ourselves, then this time is giving us some satisfying results.
But , actually, we can accept whatever is delivered to us by having a better understanding of what it means for our growth as human souls. Jupiter and Neptune are giving us sensibility and compassion with ourselves and others. This is a time to have faith in ourselves and the universe. It is time to take a rest and just wait for the rain to wet our new-born sprouts.
Jupiter and Neptune in potential harmony (sextile) with the North Node and harmony (trine) with the South Node
Saturn in Aquarius in tension (square) with the Nodes
Sun in Aries in potential harmony (sextile) with Saturn in Aquarius
The Nodes of the Moon are related to fate. It isn’t predetermined, there is a flexibility in its formations. But there is a point where the energy finally takes a form, a point of no return, and fate is what follows. There is a path of energy that moves from the South Node to the North Node. There are things being concluded and mastered in the South Node so one can turn to the North Node for further developments.
The wait may have been long, there may have been a lot of challenges and hardships, but now we are reaching a turning point. There is a great release which can be intense and dramatic, but is certainly leading us to the path our soul has chosen.
Because this important and rare conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces is aspecting the Nodes of the Moon, we are all witnessing the fate of humanity in this century, as well as our own fate in some area of our lives, represented by the house where the North Node is transiting in our natal chart. More can be understood through the study of aspects between Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces and planets in your natal chart. You may need the help of an astrologer for that, and you can check my astrological services.
Now, at the same time we see Saturn in tension with the Nodes and potential harmony with the Sun. It means there is a strong and disciplined attempt towards reformation, innovation and even revolution being undertaken by the military forces, leader figures and soul warriors who are making pressure for a change (I wrote a post about that called Mars Saturn conjunction in Aquarius and you can find it here). These warriors on many levels have been facing huge challenges and difficulties to create a new reality. This can be you in your personal struggle, whatever it is the change you are trying to implement.
Although Saturn's exact square to the Nodes occurs on April 21st, we are already experiencing its implications. There has been great effort and action towards the necessary reformations, adaptations and changes needed. There is something to be achieved, then passed on with wisdom to the future generations, to those that will follow you (again, your children, your students or subordinates at work, for example, or even your social media followers). Your efforts here may have impactful and long-term repercussions to others, and that’s why it is so important that we play our role.
With Jupiter and Neptune in an easy aspect with the Nodes, there is a flow, a push that helps in making that move from the South Node completion to the North Node starting point. There is an invisible hand helping in the process. So, we are about to have our battles successfully completed, if we have been doing the effort to operate the necessary changes!
